I will be presenting at a session AR the Agricultural  Biotechnology  International Conference ABIC 2013 in Calgary Canada.  I will share  my presentation on the impact of time delays and cost increases in biosafety  regulatory processes,  a bit later.

The main message is that we as a society need to be aware that regulatory delays have an impact not only in terms of the valuation of upcoming  and existing technologies through reductions in their net present value,  but most importantly on the availability of technologies deployed by the public sector in and/or for developing countries,  as they are more sensitive to policy and finance shocks.
