Never ceases to amuse me when people who have no clue whatsoever about the science behind biotechnology, the risk assessment process that is used to evaluate and then to approve (or reject) GMOs, and a a more basic level even the agronomy or plant breeding or agriculture for that matter, and who have never done any rigorous work or research in the subject…all of the sudden are commenting and considering themselves as “experts” -or worse portray themselves as such- on biotechnology, risk assessment GMOs and socioeconomic impact assessment. If you do not have a clear understanding of the background behind the biology of these technologies, there is no way you can produce a high quality assessment of these technologies. Period.
